PROCUREMENT POLICY
With the help of all of our staff, our hotel's primary objective is to deliver the highest calibre of service. All goods acquired in pursuit of
this objective are assessed and acquired within the parameters laid out below.
All of the goods and services we buy are done so with the intention of enhancing our business.
We base our purchasing approach on sustainable agriculture and food because we are conscious of the need to safely supply the nutritional
demands of the growing population while preserving the planet's finite natural resources.
Whenever feasible, we buy from local vendors and always support local manufacturers.
We educate our visitors about regional goods and customs.
Particularly when it comes to wood, paper, fish, other foods, and wild-produced goods, we choose ecologically certified items and providers.
We collaborate with businesses that have complied with all applicable environmental and energy-related legislative obligations.
We collaborate with businesses that promote recycling and have energy and environmental policies.
We favour items with the FFSC and EKO labels.
By buying in bulk, we reduce superfluous packing, favour high-volume products, and choose goods that generate less waste.
Domestic goods are usually given preference over imports.
We prioritise "Efficiency" in all technical assessments so that we may choose items that will consume less of vital resources like water and
electricity.
At our hotels, we only use products that consume goods from the A-B Energy group when absolutely necessary.
We avoid buying goods that release hazardous emissions, and we choose packing materials for deposits that can be reused.
